On June 23rd, singer Kim Hyun Joong dropped by KBS Cool FM studio for a session with “Ock Joo Hyun’s Music Plaza“. While there, he revealed his reasons for saving money.
The SS501 idol began,
“If I get married, I plan to have four kids. That is the reason why I am saving money… My future wife is going to have to suffer for about five years if we are to have 4 kids.“
Fans also sent in stories saying that it seemed like Kim Hyun Joong had a lot of interest in space. He responded,
“It’s my dream to travel to outer space. I think it doesn’t make sense to die without seeing space. Another reason for my saving of money is just that, space travel.“
Kim Hyun Joong also revealed that he’s unable to refuse other people’s requests to borrow money, and that he’s lost some money for that reason.
“Whenever I pass through Olympic Road, I see an ad that says, ‘Get back the money you lost.’ I’ve tried calling the number before.“
Kim Hyun Joong is currently promoting for his solo mini0album “Break Down“.

Kim Hyun Joong to release ‘Break Down’ limited edition album!

It’s just been revealed that SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing a limited edition version of his debut solo album, “Break Down“!
KeyEast Entertainment stated, “We are releasing a limited edition album as a gesture of thanks for those fans who’ve sent lots of love for Kim Hyun Joong’s first mini-album. The limited edition contains a variety of content, including a ‘making-of’ clip as well as personal stories from Kim Hyun Joong himself.”
The limited edition album is comprised of a CD and a making-of clip, a DVD containing the music videos for ‘Break Down’ and ‘Please‘, and 48 pages of never-before-seen photos.
The making-of film holds a special video message for fans as well as highlights from June 7th’s showcase. It also includes clips of Kim Hyun Joong’s dance practice and behind-the-scenes moments from the MV set.
A representative from KeyEast stated, “We regrouped with the best staff once again to provide higher-quality videos and footage, different from the ones you’d find in other limited edition albums.”
Kim Hyun Joong’s limited edition mini-album will be available in off-line stores on June 30th.

Kim HyunJoong talked about an incident where he ate spicy JjamBbong and passed out.
In the recent recording of KBS 2TV ‘Happy Together 3’, Kim HyunJoong started his talk “After finishing a music program, in a state where the tension was gone, I went to a JjamBbong shop, famous for its spiciness, and ordered the most spicy JjamBbong.”
He confessed “The chef came to me personally and dissuade me (to order) but I wanted to know how spicy is the spiciness, so I went ahead with the order. About 2 minutes into eating, I started to have cold sweats and after 6 minutes, I had a stomachache and had to go straight to the toilet, afterwhich I passed out.”
He added revealing his dizzy experience, “Later, I heard from the manager who was with me then that I was sitting in the toilet and my eyes were showing the whites and I fainted.” He said that later on, the chef smiled delightfully and watch the fainted Kim HyunJoong in the ambulance, which made everyone laughed.

During a recent recording of KBS2’s “Happy Together,” Kim Hyun Joong surprised everyone by confessing that he bought a schoolgirl costume in the past. He stated, “When SS501 first went to Japan, we came across a cosplay store.” Cosplay is short for “costume play,” and participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character. In Japan, these characters are often drawn from popular mangas.
Kim Hyun Joong said, “Heo Young Saeng bought a Chinese dress-like outfit from the store. So I went to the same place and purchased the schoolgirl costume.” When asked whether he wore it, he answered, “I have it displayed.” He emphasized, “There were other various costumes at the cosplay store, like police uniforms. I merely bought the schoolgirl uniform because it looked cool.”
Heo Young Saeng added, “We purchased the costumes because they were pretty, nothing else. However, people misunderstood and thought we were going to give it to our girlfriends.” This episode of “Happy Together” will air tonight, June 23rd, at 11:15PM KST.

The seven ladies of T-ara and SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong were awarded the titles of “Best CF actor/actress” at the 2011 MTN Broadcast Commercial Festival.
“Thank you for giving me such a meaningful award,” said Kim Hyun Joong, whose fame skyrocketed through his drama, “Boys Over Flowers“. “In the future, I will do better in commercials as well as branch out into other forms of media.”
All seven members of T-ara were present to receive their award, which is decided by a panel of industry executives and specialists. “Thank you for the award, and please show a lot of love to our new album, which we’ll be releasing soon,” the ladies said.
T-ara will soon be unleashing their new album, “John Travolta Wannabe“.
